Sudeley Arms
Sudeley Arms, 33 Sudeley Street, Kemp Town

Hosts: Lin and Dennis McIndoe

The Sudeley is a medium sized pub tucked away on a quiet side street. It is divided into two fair sized rooms, a Public bar and a lounge. Both bars are be-decked with Guiness memorabila which the team found very striking and effective. The public bar is wooden floored and has a good feel to it, frequented by friendly local characters. The Lounge is softly lit with a friendly atmosphere. The landlord and landlady are very friendly and welcoming and we found the Sudeley to be a good, well run pub.

The Sudeley is a Courage house selling Harveys Best (real ale), Youngs Special (real ale), Courage Dark Mild (real ale), Guinness, Holsten, Kronenburg, Fosters, and Scrumpy Jack on draught. The beer was well kept and in good condition. In our opinion, definately worth a pint.

The Sudeley offers hot and cold food six days a week, with vegetarians catered for. The menu was reasonably priced with a good choice of food available. On a Sunday free bar snacks are available
